Historians around the world are reported to be very disappointed by the release of ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’ by hip-hop icon Jay-Z.

The long awaited 12th album was widely thought to contain groundbreaking new information about the historic 13th century document.

Profession Mike Wrecker of Oxford University said ‘We were hoping that Mr Z’s new work might give us further insights into the dynamics of taxation and social order during a time of great upheaval in feudal Britain.”

“As we all know one of the main tenets of the Magna Carta’s purpose was to enshrine the rights of the populace and introduce the notion that even monarchs aren’t above the law. So essentially citizens were saying ‘I got 99 problems but the King ain’t one’.

However the British Library’s plans to unite four copies of the Magna Carta have come to fruition in moderately stocked record shops around the country.

Other notable hip hop histories thought to be in the pipeline include Eminem’s long awaited take on the Suffragette movement and DMX’s history of the Irish potato famine.
